In May 27, 1977 ground breaking was held for the current house on the corner of Sixth Ave and Princeton Street.  Construction started in 1978 and Chapter moved in the fall of 1979.   Cost for the new home was in excess of $660,000.00.  This entire cost was paid off by May of 1987.   The majority of the funds came from alumni donations.  A portion was from charitable gambling under the Varsity Bachelors Phi Delta Theta Educational Foundation.

In the late 1970's Varsity Bachelors Club was able to develop and get the IRS to grant it a tax exempt foundation status, the first fraternity to achieve the status since IRS Tax Law changes in the 1960's.  The work was done extensively by Brother Gordon Caldis (BN 423).

A parents club was formed in the spring of 1993.
